Who should play Glade 2009?

Glade Festival is Britain's biggest and best non-corporate electronic dance music festival, with a proper havin' it vibe. It's 16-19 July 2009, get those dates in your diary.

I think Prodigy could well possibly be a little too expensive for Glade. Unless it's just Liam... I dunno.

I'd like to see some more experimental shit really, Pan Sonic perhaps? Download would be good, but unlikely. Datach'i, that would be interesting.

I don't know who I think would play, but I could probably think of some more artists I'd like to play.

yeah that's what i thought. also think it could throw the festi more into the mainstream which would be to its detriment. so even though i dol ove the prodigy im not sure GLADE is right for them and vice versa

i personally would love to see dubfire play again

If they can afford Pendulum, they might be able to at least afford a Liam or Leeroy DJ set. I'd have to agree that a full Prodigy live set probably wouldn't be right for the Glade too, much as I would love to see them.

I'm still hoping they play the Bang Face Weekender though.

i love the prodigy, but they are not right for The Glade. A liam howlett DJ set would be great though :D

Rotator again please, picked up the album for £5 from the overkill merchandise stall and its proper rockin

Robert Hood, Adam Beyer, more techno...

I hear Leeroy is a shit hot DJ, I would definitely see that, that's got to be doable easily.

Anything's better than fucking pendulum, jesus.

jesus... :? what an absolute waste of money

I really hope glade doesn't book someone like them again. :x
Also agree that, whilst i do love prodigy, they wouldn't be right for glade. You'd be able to get lots of great mediumly big artists for the same price as it would cost to book them too, which would be much better.
If there is going to be a 'commercial' headliner again for 2009 then my vote would go for lcd soundsystem, seen em once before and they absolutely blew me away. Would definately fit in at glade.

Can i also add Simian mobile disco, seen them live and it was proper stomping, much harder acid techno edged nonsense than i was expecting. On a similar tip, id also love to see Josh Wink play at glade.

Good calls for Amon Tobin, John tejada and mr. landstrumm.

would like to see the freestylers and krafty kuts in the breaks tent
also fanu and the panacea would be a good shout in overkill
would like to see some one like vicious circle or the sect play too
and definitely current value again. that shit was off the scale this year.

The panacea was on the bill for the bangface night in 07, unfortunatly I didn't see him (some say he played, others say he didn't) but double yes for his return. And yea current value were off the chain this year :D
