£20 is damned cheap compared to his last tour (I feel like his PR or sommat!), and I've seen far inferior comics recently for £20-25 in Soho, so...

I actually think that £20 for guaranteed entertainment isn't expensive though, so... It's minimum £35 to watch my footy team (and they may lose), £60 for the cricket, £35 a head for a nice meal...

Saying that, Stewart Lee's last tour was £25 and worth every f*cking penny.

see i dont really go out much except for raves - never been to see a comedian. i guess it would be good but id rather watch it online for free (student mentality). dont do sport, theatre or meals out, id like to at some point but at the moment every penny i get hold of is on other things

Yea Bill is easily worth £20, I thought it sounded cheap when I heard the price.

The trick for comedy though is to loiter outside comedy clubs in the late afternoon. They will often give out unsold tickets for the nights show as it creates more atmosphere and you still buy drinks. Done that a couple of times in leicester, free comedy rocks.
